In the Name of God, I Philip Mock of the Co. of Forsyth & State of NC, being in feeble health, but Sound mind, memory and understanding. Praise God for the Same, Do make this my last will and testament, in manner and form following. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Mary Mock all my property real, personal, and ???ed of what nature or Kind soever and wheresoever the Same Shall be at my death. She to have and to hold this same during her life. At her death, the same to be divided equally with my nine children. And I do nominate consitute and appoint my two sons Jacob H. Mock and George F. Mock executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all and every other will or wills at any time here to for made by me and do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness where of I the said Philip Mock have unto set my hand the 16^th day of November 1892.

Peter's will, dated March 1893 clearly names his wife as Maria Mock. David C. Mock, his half brother is executor and it is attested by Leander Mock. In Jan 1899 David C. Mock goes before the court and states that the widow Maria Mock and granddaughter Ella May Mock, named in the will, are entitled to the property listed. Therefore, Maria must have died after Jan. 1899.
