to William Arrington. The "others" mentioned in the deed were Andrew Mock

Sary, his wife, all
of Screven Co., GA. This land once belonged to David Shockley who deeded it to
his Step-grandson David Mock. Who is this David Mock????

Mock was mentioned.
Dannie Mock - The Will of Andrew Mock, Sr. dated
5 Jul 1815 names his oldest son, Benjiman & his dau. Charlotte as co-
executors with Charlotte receiving the 149 acres that he had owned since 4 Jan
1796. This land acquisition is specifically mentioned in the will. All other
land assets were to be divided among "all my children." One interesting fact is
that I have never ran across anything that mentioned his wife with the
exception of the land grant he received in Jefferson Co. That grant still did
not refer to her by name.
