& Leah Ozenbaugh Mock.
From papers of Franklin Mock, great grandson of David Mock
(Franklin b. 1907 Fairfield Co. > James Clinton b. 1863 Fairfield Co. >
Martin V. b. 1836 Fairfield Co. > David Mock, son of George Mock)
This information does not say who wrote it.
1.Mrs. Chas. Schubert's - our great grandfather Michael Mock married a Miss Whisinger. Our grandfather Samuel Mock
married (1) Catherine Boyer, (2) Mary Keys.
2. Children of (1) wife - John L. Mock married Melissa Sperry, Mary A.

Samuel Mock's 1st wife, Catherine Boyer, was a granddaughter of Rev.
Robert Innis an
English Quaker minister, later on a methodist minister. My father, John L.
Mock, said he was a
fine and most tender man living. Rev. Innis married Catherine & Samuel.
Samuel's first home was on Harbor Road north of Linden, Ohio which Rev. Robert
Innis owned.
I do not know where Michael and Samuel Mock came from, but
Rev. Robert Innis came from Westmoreland Co.,PA. I know Michael Mock, the
grandfather of John Mock talked with quite a broken brogue, PA Dutch.
When Samuel Mock's wife died, Michael Mock & wife took
John & Mary A. Mock. An Aunt, Mrs. Sarah Mock Vorhees took Fletcher Mock.
Uncle Joseph Mock took George Mock.
Later, Samuel Mock married a 2nd wife, Betsy King, from
St. Marys of the Springs, OH. (Note by B.D. - This confuses me. I thought
Samuel married (2nd) Mary Keys and moved to Washington?????)
When John L. Mock was about 10 years old, Samuel Mock took
him to the home of a cousin, Gustavus Swan Innis to live. Here he worked on the
farm & attended school and finally 3 yrs. college at Oberlin Westerville,
OH. During vacations he worked for Mr. Innis or taught school. He enlisted in
the CW in 1862.

son of Martin V. and grandson of David, and his card - James C. Mock Greenfield
Township, Nomination, Saturday, April 29, 1899, Candidate for County Recorder.
Typed on the paper with the picture: "when I started this project I did
not know anything of Henry and his second family as my Mother and two brothers
were raised by her Aunt in St. Joseph, IL. I traced two granddaughter of Henry
& Elize - one lives in Georgetown, IL and one in Springfield, IL. The one
in Springfield had this original picture and let me borrow it to get a copy
made. Neither of them knew anything about Henry's brothers or sister or parents
but are now interested. They are both very nice and I am glad I found
them" end of quote.
